  • Responsibilities

    Supervises staff, day-to-day operations, and scheduling/registration for The Surgery Center and The Imaging Center. Monitor patient accounts for timely collections and resolve billing issues. Ensures payment postings are timely and accurate. Perform audits on payments and adjustments for quality assurance   Perform staff duties as needed for staff coverage.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Experience required in a patient scheduling/registration and/or billing/collections in a medical field.
    • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience. 
    • Thorough knowledge of reimbursement regulations for Medicare, Medicaid, and other medical insurance carriers strongly preferred.
    • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
    • Strong computer skills required, to include spreadsheets and fiscal reports.
    • Ability to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, and problem-solve.
    • Ability to work effectively with staff, patients, public, and external agencies. 
    • Skills in planning, organizing, delegating, and supervising.

     

    Work Schedules: 40 hours per week; M-F; 8:00am- 5:00pm
