    Position Summary:
    CT Department seeking experienced CT Tech to perform scans in a busy hospital setting - Siemens Dual Source Force CT and 2 GE 64 slice scanners.  Applicants must be dependable and punctual, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while exercising excellent critical thinking skills. 



    Job Duties:

    Prepares exam room, providing clean, comfortable, and safe environment for patients and employees.  Explains procedures to patients, assists with patient dressing and positioning on the exam table.  Injects patient with IV contrast media and perform IV set starts when necessary.  Must have knowledge of risks and potential complications to patients receiving IV contrast and can take appropriate steps if these occur.  Responsible for providing the correct exam for the diagnosis. Obtains authenticated physician order for exams and assures necessary follow-up.


    Schedule: Work as needed; could include weekends, day shifts with the ocassional night coverage, and holidays.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

    • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and registered, and or registry eligible with completion of registry in 12 months in computed tomography (CT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).  Montana State License required by law.
